On 12 November 2024, Microsoft announced the following:
Effective 1 December 2024, the following Copilot offerings will include an annual commitment paid monthly option: M365 Copilot, M365 Copilot for Sales, and M365 Copilot for Services. This new billing commitment is available on new subscriptions only. Customers with existing subscriptions must wait until their renewal to switch billing commitments. Annual commitments with monthly billing will incur a 5% premium.
Effective 1 April 2025, all NCE subscriptions with annual commitments paid monthly will also incur a 5% premium. The 5% premium will be applied to new subscriptions purchased on or after 1 April 2025. Existing subscriptions will incur the pricing premium at the renewal on or after 1 April 2025. Annual subscriptions paid annually, and monthly subscriptions paid monthly will not incur any new premiums. Those customers wishing to move from annual commitments paid monthly to annual commitments paid annually can do so at the renewal by using the Scheduled Order Manager feature in the Pax8 Marketplace.
